A Kind of Loving/Linda Sole releases tomorrow. Verity has achieved her ambition to own an antique shop, but she knows that her marriage is in trouble, though she doesn't understand why. Michael has never been as loving as he might have been, but of late he has withdrawn from her.
Verity's mother-in-law Ruth, of whom she is very fond is ill. As Ruth is forced to rest more and more she thinks back to the past and her story is revealed. Gradually we begin to understand why Michael is the way he is and to realise that the things we do in the past sometimes haunt us long into the future.
Verity must learn to live with the truth and try to make a new life. Perhaps she can do that with a younger man?
This book is highly emotional and will tug at your heartstrings.
Out with Red Rose Publishing on 13th March 2008
